Lounging around
Roaring fires and soft leather couches, books and board games abound. It’s a shame there are so many wonderful places near by to visit and explore that may entice you away from the comforts of our home. You can snuggle down with a book and put your feet up in front of the roaring fire in the Red Room. We have a large and diverse selection of books available to browse whist you're here, you never know what you may find!

As you enjoy the comforts of the house, how about crossing the hallway and helping yourself to a drink from the honesty bar in the Green Room. There is a good choice of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and best of all you get to play barman. You can enjoy all this, safe in the knowledge that the younger children are happy and amused sharing Charlie’s and Hannah's toys while exploring the house and gardens.

For the big kid inside of you, pop down the basement stairs to the games room, where you can have an impromptu game of pool on our full size slate bed pool table, or challenge yourself to a computer game on our house XBox.
